Zannah Chisholm

CEO, Pavilion Dance South West

Hi, I’m Zannah Chisholm, Artistic Director/CEO of Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW). I’m delighted to see partnerships strengthening across the BCP Council area to support culture and integrate it across different areas of our lives.

My background spans artforms as well as dance with time spent as a freelancer specialising in facilitation, project management and evaluation as well as roles in Learning at Arts Council England, Director of Devon Arts In Schools Initiative and R C Sherriff Rosebriars Trust. I am on the Learning & Skills Board of the Dorset LEP. I am a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellow and a Social Entrepreneur Award winner. My degrees are MA European Cultural Policy (Warwick Uni) and Performing Arts (Leicester Poly). I’m a Mum and multi-tasker, keen to adapt the workplace to enable more people to consider working with us and to support more women to become seen as arts leaders.

We celebrate ten years in Pavilion Dance this autumn and during that time have had hundreds of dance shows and many thousands of people dancing with us both in our building and across streets, gardens, shopping centres and beaches.

We keep at the heart of our work the difference we can make to residents and visitors to the area. Do come and say hello during the event.
